Please see the estimated tuition costs for the 2023-2024 academic year. These estimated amounts are for both undergraduate and graduate-level programs, including BSN, DABSN, MN Pathway to MSN, MN, and MSN, and DNP programs. Opportunities to defray the cost of attendance through scholarships and financial aid are available.
Each program at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing has different tuition structures and billing patterns. Figures shown are for approximation purposes and should not be used in program comparison.
Policy Statement on Refunds
Refunds for Emory University students who are federal (Title IV) aid recipients will be prorated in accordance with the Higher Education Amendments of 1992 and any related regulations. Tuition adjustments for full withdrawals will follow the policies located here.
Traditional BSN: $29,960/semester ($2,497/hour)
Distance ABSN: $1,706/hour
MN Pathway to MSN: $24,198/semester ($2,017/hour)
Pre-licensure Master of Nursing $24,198/semester ($2,017/hour)
Master of Science in Nursing: $24,986/semester ($2,082/hour)
Post Masters Certificate: $1,970/hour*
Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP): $21,272/semester ($1,773/hour)
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist: $25,662/semester ($2,138/hour)
Master in Cardiovascular Perfusion Science: $1,625/hour
*Program not available for federal student loans as it is a non-degree seeking program.

Scholarships and Fellowships
The School of Nursing has multiple scholarship and fellowship program opportunities for students. Many high-achieving students receive multiple scholarship awards.

Loans
Nurse Faculty Loan Repayment
The Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) is a HRSA grant given to Emory School of Nursing to increase the number of qualified nursing faculty and APRN preceptors.
Students who receive the NFLP loan must agree to become employed as a full-time nurse faculty upon graduation. Up to 85% of the NFLP loan can be forgiven if the student meets the program requirements.
- 20% of the principal and interest on the amount of the unpaid loan balance upon completion of the first, second, and third year of full-time faculty employment (based on requirements);
- 25% of the principal and the interest on the amount of the unpaid loan balance upon completion of the fourth year of full-time faculty employment.
NFLP recipients must be aware of NFLP requirements and purpose. Please review the following:
Requirements:
- Full-time (DNP - 12 credits or more; PhD - 9 credits or more) or part-time students (DNP - under 11 credits; PhD - under 9 credits) who are currently faculty or are planning to become faculty upon completion of their program. MSN and Post Master’s Certificate students are not eligible at this time.
- Good academic standing – 3.0 GPA or above
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Planning to pursue a full-time faculty position, adjunct position, or APRN preceptor after graduation.
- Must complete a promissory note
Students who receive the NFLP loan must commit to one of the following criteria after graduation:
- Employment as a full-time faculty member at an accredited school of nursing
- Employment as a part-time faculty member at an accredited school of nursing in combination with another part-time faculty position or part-time clinical preceptor/educator position affiliated with an accredited school of nursing that together equates to full-time employment
- Designation of nurse faculty in a joint nurse faculty appointment serving as full-time advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) preceptor for an accredited school of nursing, within an academic-practice partnership framework

NFLP loan participants can receive loan support for a maximum of five years.
