Historical Foundations of Racial Disparities in U.S. Health Care
The goal of the Historical Foundations of Racial Disparities in US Health Care course is to appreciate the impact of the history of racism in the United States for the provision of health care today. We hope that by the end of this course you will understand how and why race, as a category, has developed and applied; what the impact of historical factors have been on racial disparities in health care today; and the strategies we can employ for enhancing social justice in nursing.
