About

Dr. Ashley Coombe is an Associate Professor, clinical track, and joined the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in June, 2018 as part of the D-ABSN program faculty. Her area of expertise includes adult health nursing and nursing education. She received her Master's in Nursing Education from the University of West Georgia in 2007 and PhD in Nursing Science from Georgia State University in 2012. Her research interests include impaired sleep and insulin resistance. Dr. Coombe is also a Certified Nurse Educator from the National League of Nursing.
