Angie Wright, EdD, serves as Assistant Dean for Advancement and Alumni Engagement for the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. In her role, she provides strategic direction for fundraising, alumni and constituent engagement efforts. She collaborates with alumni and friends of the School of Nursing to achieve their philanthropic and engagement goals.  

With over two decades of experience in P-16 education, Angie has been at Emory since 2019. Before coming to Emory, she served with some of the nation’s other leading educational institutions, including Duke University and North Carolina’s largest school district – the Wake County Public School System. Angie began her career in education, teaching students pursuing two-year postsecondary degrees in programs leading to ADN, LPN, or BSN career pathways. A proud alumna of Appalachian State University, her educational attainment culminated with a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.
