Continuing Education Programs

The School of Nursing provides continuing education programs for your nurses.

Emory Nursing Experience

Emory Nursing Experience (ENE), Emory’s Nursing Professional Development Center, is a partnership between Emory Healthcare Nursing Education and the Emory Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing to provide quality, continuing nursing education (CNE) activities that meet learner needs in the dynamic healthcare environment. In addition to providing our continuing education offerings, our nurse planners will work collaboratively with your staff  to plan, develop, and evaluate continuing education offerings and provide contact hours. The Emory Nursing Professional Development Center (ENPDC) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education (CNE) by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation.

Visit the ENE Website.

Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Education

The accredited WOC Nursing Education Program prepares the graduate to provide specialty care for patients with acute and chronic wounds, standard and continent diversions, and fecal and urinary incontinence. The center provides three separate courses that have been accredited by the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society (WOCN) since 1976: skin and wound care, ostomy and continent diversion management, and management of urinary and fecal incontinence. These courses are also approved by the Georgia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's COA. The Emory WOCNEC also provides continuing education courses in wound care, ostomy care, and foot and nail care.

Visit the WOCNEC website for program and application information.
