The nursing Classes of 1973 celebrated its 50th reunion weekend on campus in May during Emory's Commencement weekend. During Commencement, 50th reunion attendees marched on the Quad to lead the Class of 2023 to their seats. They were then inducted into the Society of Corpus Cordis Aureum (SCCA) where they received a specially commissioned medallion to keep and wear at all future Society of Corpus Cordis Aureum activities. Corpus Cordis Aureum, which is Latin for the golden corps of the heart, celebrates Emory alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago.
The celebration continues this fall during Homecoming weekend! We hope you will join us one more time as we celebrate the Classes of 1973 this year at the Society of Corpus Cordis Aureum Golden Alumni Brunch, Thursday, October 19th. If you are interested in attending, let us know!
