Our interdisciplinary gerontology/aging faculty lead centers for palliative care and dementia family caregiving and engage in scholarship that examines the intersections of chronic illness and social determinants of health. The school's aging research portfolio is national in reach and includes a wide variety of methods (psychosocial, ecological, physiological), and extends to heterogeneous populations. Our gerontology and aging studies program has very strong intercollegial research relationships through its own Roybal Center for Dementia Family Caregiving and its palliative care program. Our faculty work closely with the Woodruff Health Sciences Center for Health in Aging, the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology in the School of Medicine. They also have connections with Emory's Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, the Atlanta VA Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC), and the Center for AIDS Research.
All virtual open house events will take place Tuesday evenings from 6-7 p.m. EST on Zoom. Use the links below to register.
